A celebration is in order!A week after our small family wedding, we’d love to keep the festivities going and spend an evening with you ❤️We’re planning a very low-key "just married" party in Toronto - think drinks, snacks and chill vibes. Mostly, it’s just an excuse to hang out and celebrate together.

🗓️ Date: Saturday, October 17, 2026📍 Location: TBC, Toronto (we'll let you know exact location soon, but it will be in Toronto!)🎩 Dress Code: Dress code is simple - wear your nicest clothes that you still feel comfortable in.👼 The BBs: We adore kids, but this will be a grown-ups-only night. Sorry BBs!🧑🤝🧑 Extras: Please feel free to bring along a friend or a date! Just let us know in the RSVP form.🎁 This is not a wedding, just a party to celebrate with friends. If you are able to make it, your presence is our present.

🛏️ HOTELS
If you're joining us from out of town, we're so happy you are able to make it! We haven't stayed in any of the following hotels, but we have hung out in each of them (we love a good hotel lobby!).
Ace Hotel: chic and minimalist; has a nice restaurant inside
Fairmont Royal York Hotel: Right across from Union station; we have hungout in the lobby several times in both their lobby bar and Library Bar
Park Hyatt: There is a lovely rooftop heated patio here for drinks (or dinner); it looks south towards downtown
🍽️ RESTAURANTS
The Wood Owl: Cozy with good food; for a nice date
Pai: always busy; fun vibes + good thai
Congee Queen: good Chinese food, big portions - good for takeout or eating in
Korean Village Restaurant: super friendly staff and good korean food
Okonomi House Restaurant: only Okonomiyaki and yakisoba - filling & delicious
Waterworks Food Hall: Lots of options in one place; usually not too busy - a favourite is Harry's Charbroiled (delicious fries!)
Descendant Detroit Style Pizza: excellent pizza; more for takeout
Hokkaido Ramen Santouka: Andy's favourite ramen shop
🍸 BARS
Bar Raval: looks like the inside of a tree - so pretty
Mom’s Basement: east-end dive bar; 80s vibes
Rorschach Brewing: another east-end spot; chill brewery w/ nice sours
The Caledonian: Scottish pub
Get Well: nice-ish dive bar with arcade games + pizza
Paradise Grapevine: Chill wine bar - also have a location on Geary
Bar Volo: craft beer + italian snacks
Town Crier: German + Belgian beers on tap; cozy seats - we end up here often when we are downtown (lol)
☕ BAKERY & COFFEE SHOPS
Butter & Blue: Close to the AGO, fun coffee and treats
Forno Cultura: Italian bakery with lots of bread-related items to eat (savoury and sweet!); there is also a location on Queen
Pilot Coffee: Our daily coffee (but we drink it at home...)
Boxcar Social Laneway: cute coffee shop in an alley; in a nice area for wandering
